Manuscript in Latin on vellum and paper, ±1500, 2 parts in 1 vol., (60); (36) lvs., 65x55 mm., heightened neumes on a four-line musical staff w. brown (and some green) lines with text (between spaces) in black, initials in red and blue, orig. overlapping vellum w. thong laced in, 64mo.

= A delightful portable hymnal which contains liturgical songs and psalms. It was probably used in a male convent for a single parishioner. Although the contents are standard, the measurements make this an exceptional medieval manuscript. The writing is in a lovely hybrida by a professional, even calligraphic hand.
