- Tipped onto one mount; both trimmed to or just outside the platemark; traces from former tipping in partly sl. visible in corners on recto.
= Both etchings w. collector's name of "Huber" in pencil on verso (different from Lugt 1267c) and unidentified collector's mark. Hollstein 103 and 106, both 3rd state (of 3).
AND 2 mediocre copies of the same two etchings, also in the 3rd state (both cut sl. short w. loss of (part of) the number and 1x yellowed).
= Hollstein 42. With the collector's mark of the prints collection of Leyden university (Lugt 2221).
- Some foxing. = Hollstein 2, 5th state (of 5).
- Good, later impression on thick paper, cut 5 mm outside the platemark.
= Hollstein 24, 2nd state (of 2).
- Strong impression. = Copy in the same direction of Hollstein 24. On 17th cent. laid paper.

- Brown stain; vertical printer's flaw; two thin spots. = Hollstein 338ff.

- Trimmed on the platemark; two closed tears near upper edge; two sm. restorations in left margin, just within the image (tiny sections redrawn).
= Hollstein 285, 1st state (of 3).
- Cut to the framing line and tipped onto mount, original caption cut off and tipped onto mount.

- All prints professionally restored (i.a. closed tears and repaired edges), w. margins extended w. Japanese paper; most prints unevenly agetoned/ yellowed; a few spots.
= Hollstein 5-10, the 3rd state (of 6), finished but before the artist's name, number and address. On paper w. foolscap watermark (5x) and crowned lily (1x). Verso with the collector's stamp of Dr. W.A. Ackermann (1793-1865) (Lugt 791) (1x), the signature in pencil of S. Coster (17th cent.) (Lugt 462) (1x), an unidentified circular collector's stamp (not in Lugt) (2x) and the stamp of J.E. Wetterauer (6x). The series comprises: Ponte Molle; The hinny-drover, Via Appia; View of the Tiber in the Campagna; The two cows near the river, Tivoli; The fishermen at the Tiber, near the Soracte; The wooden bridge, Sulmona near Tivoli.
- Waterstains in upper part; brownn offsetting; grey impression. = Hollstein 1, the 6th state (of 6).
Waterloo, A. (1609-1690). Watermill at the foot of a hill. Etching, 12,1x20,8 cm.
- Somewhat yellowed.
= Hollstein 94, 2nd (?) state (of 2). With the collector's mark of Hillinger (Lugt 4334) and an unidentified collector's mark showing a beehive (Lugt 2732, perhaps collection Moran(?)).
AND 1 other by the same: A Mother and three children under way (Hollstein 79, 1st and only state. W. collector's marks of Hillinger and Herman Weber (Lugt 1383)).
- Yellowed. = Rare boxing print.
- Black margins sl. and unobtrusively waterstained.
AND 3 miscellaneous others, i.a. IDEM, (Sailing ships near the quay on a quiet day) (etching and engraving after C. DE GRIENT, 18x24 cm. Central fold in image).
= Van H. 13, not in LPN.
- Fine.
= Rare. New Hollstein (Bruegel) 62, 1st state (of 2); cf. Hollstein (Huys) 16-26. Franz Huys died in 1562, so perhaps the print was finished by someone else. New Hollstein suggests Cornelis Cort. Probably for the coast of Enkhuizen. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CI.
- Sl. soiled.

- Right margin trimmed to/ on the plate mark; upper margin trimmed just inside the image; margins partly strengthened on verso; vaguely foxed in left verse-lines.
= Rare mezzotint.
