- Browned and laid down.
= Verso w. annot. in pen and ink concerning the provenance: the auctions of the collection J. van Hal, Breda (died 1911) and F.H. van Ouwerling (1883-1960).
AND an anonymous late 19th cent. washed ink drawing of De Oude Poort van Hattum (Gelderland) (13,7x20,8 cm.; upper left corner sl. dam.), with the lithograph after which the drawing had been made (lithogr. Dutch and French caption).
- Some flaking of paint in lower half, otherwise fine.
- Trifle soiled and sl. yellowed; tiny closed tear in left edge.
= On wove paper with an attribution in pencil on verso: "waarschijnlijk H. Scholten" (but probably not). Perhaps by Carel Lodewijk Hansen.
- Pinholes in upper corners; trifle yellowed/ frayed; sl. waterst in lower blank margin.
= Attractive wedding keepsake with the names of the married couple in letters made of small human figures. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CXIV.
= Probably by an Italian artist (one of the annotations "Altezza").
- Wrappers worn; contents fine.
= Sketchbook of an unidentified amateur draughtsman, mainly with details of a face. With "26 Maart 1806" in contemp pen and black ink on verso frontwr.
= In the background a small part of the façade of the church of the monastery.

- Yellowed; trifle foxed.
- Lacks piece of all corners; a few closed tears near edges. = On paper w. "H" watermark.
AND 2 others drawings, a contemp. drawing of a park and a 18th cent. drawing of a bird house.
= "Gezicht te Alkmaar van het Zeglis naar de Boompoort, de Voormeer, Accijnshuis, Dronkenoort Waag Stadhuis en Groote Kerk zoo als het bestondt in den jare 1670 zynde nu omtrent het Brugwerk veel verandering gemaakt door het bouwen van een Waterkeering en sierlyk Sluiswerk."
Muller, G. (±1779-1826). "Nederhorst den Berg". Brush and black ink and grey wash, 22x32,7 cm., monogrammed in lower left corner, signed "G. Muller 1812" and titled on verso.

AND an anonymous portrait of a young woman in profile, early 20th cent., gouache on board, 32,5x26,5 cm. (sl. worn/ scratches).
- Needs cleaning, otherwise fine.
= Rare view of the castle, showing it when it was still inhabited and surrounded by cornfields and rows of trees. Sterkenburg was pulled down in 1907. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CXV.
- Doubled; a few foxed spots; w. closed vertical tear in right part.
= Attractive and lively view of the coast with a ship and windmills in the background.
- Spine sketchbook split.
- Some soiling/ foxing.
Anonymous (19th cent.). (Dutch winter landscape with skaters in a village). Drawing, watercolour, 19,6x26 cm.
- Somewhat browned; laid down on part of a 19th cent. French newspaper.
ADDED 6 others: a black and brown chalk drawing and 5 handcol. prints with skating scenes, all 19th cent.
