= Very large and attractive collection of caricature drawings over a long period of time. The collection as a whole mainly provides a great insight into the sports oeuvre of the famous Dutch cartoonist; the drawings were mainly commissioned by De Telegraaf. It also comprises some of his work that was made during World War II, when Henstra remained associated with De Telegraaf, then placed under Nazi supervision. Many important sports figures and teams from different countries, especially from the Netherlands, are featured. There is a particular focus on football, boxing, equestrian sports, athletics, hockey and cycling. The drawings show reports of important matches and tournaments, but also caricatures of individual athletes.
