Engr. portrait surrounded by letterpress text in three columns, 22,2x14,3 cm. (portrait), 52,5x40 cm. (total size), ±1690.

- Laid down on board; yellowed; sl. waterstained in lower corners; lacks upper blank corner and partly split on old horizontal fold.

= Very rare broadside, with an anonymous portrait, occas. attributed to J. Tangena (act. 1687-1692), either as artist or publisher. Not in Van Someren/ FM portretten. The text surrounding the portrait contains a biography of Labadie, and in the final column contrasts his debauchery with the strict rules which he laid down for his followers.
