= Probably after (or perhaps by) Richard P. Bonington, who created this composition in 1827. The British Museum owns a drawing by the artist showing the right part of the buildings, titled "Maisons de la rue de Rivotte, Besançon". Supplied with the lithograph "Vue d'une rue des faubourgs de Besançon", showing the identical composition.
