= Map 60 of the Great Trigonometrical Survey, a project with the aim to survey the entire Indian subcontinent with scientific precision (1802-1871). The Survey had an enormous scientific impact, being responsible for one of the first accurate measurements of a section of an arc of longitude, and for measurements of the geodesic anomaly which led to the development of the theories of isostasy. This map showing "Parts of District Astragram, Banglore and Chittledroog in Mysore" (see website University of Michigan Library).

- Several repairs on verso closing dam. spots and tears; large brown spot in centre.
= Iconic map of Ireland with two decorative allegoric cartouches showing the coat of arms of Ireland and Britain.
AND a duplicate of the same map with 2 engr. tables attached ("Alphabeth-Tafel") but in poor condition.
- Slighlty yellowed.
- Mounted on linen; neatly closed hole in cartouche.

- Margins cut short; waterstain in lower margin, just touching the image; a few spots in the sky.
AND a similar view of Messina by the same.
- Ample margins, trifle frayed. = Rare map.
- Partly torn/ closed printer's flaw in left edge, just touching the image; vertical crease; nevertheless a fine copy.
= Bifolco-Ronca, Cartografia rara Italiana, tav. 18: 2nd state (of 2), w. Roman year added in cartouche and "1599" lightly erased. Very rare early map, only one other copy of this state mentioned in Bifolco-Ronca (Bergamo, Collezione Moreschi). SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXXV.
- A few (oxidyzed) spots/ scratches in sky area.
= Attractive large view showing the lake, the town and its surrounding landscape. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXXVI.
- Flattened middle fold. = Koeman II, p.59 (69).
- Waterst. in the image near right edge; sl. frayed; left part horizontal fold splitting.
- Lower and outer corners sl. dam. affecting border (not affecting the map); a few sm. tears in margins; margins partly strengthened on verso; several creases.
AND 3 others, all dam./ in mediocre condition, i.a. "Novissima Tabula Regni Hungariae (...)" (fold. contemp. handcol. engr. map, 49x89 cm., Amst., R. and J. Ottens, ±1745. Yellowed; a few holes in lower margin and to the right of the cartouche; closed split on old fold; sl. duststained).
- The lot sold w.a.f.
- Middle fold strengthened on verso; some sl. browned parts; upper blank margin lacks sm. portion.
- Waterst. mainly in left and right (blank) margin; both ends of trifle worn middle fold splitting.
- A few (restored) (marginal) tears/ tiny holes; part of lower outer margin nibbled by silverfish; folds.

- Slightly browned; 2 sm. holes and some soiling in blank margins; middle fold splitting/ closed at both ends.
