= Hollstein 1, the 3rd and final state. With the manuscript collector's mark "Coll.on Barnard" (not in Lugt) on verso and an unidentified collector's mark on recto.

- A few brown spots, but otherwise fine strong impression. = Hollstein 5, 2nd state (of 3).

- Some foxing in image; crudely restored spot in lower blank margin; 4 suspension tags on verso; sl. creased; duststained, mostly in blank corners.
- Both waterstained in right blank margin; a few thin spots and a few creases in blank margins; first etching w. some foxing.
- A few thin spots; some handling creases and vague duststaining blank margins.
- Sm. tear in right blank margin; some handling creases in lower blank margin.
- Fold in upper left corner; a few foxed spots in image; some sm. tears in blank margins.
= Nice, strong impression.

- Partly unevenly browned.
= Hollstein Waterloo 90, 3rd state (of 3), reworked by Antoni Waterloo, with his address added. With 2 collector's marks of Hillinger (Lugt 4334 and not in Lugt) and an unidentified mark (Lugt 2732, Beehive). Because the Hillinger and the beehive mark have the exact same ink colour, perhaps the two are connected. Hillinger is perhaps Oszkar Hillinger?
- Laid down on sl. later paper.
= From the series Oraculum Anachoreticum (hermit saints) or Trophæum Vitæ Solitariæ. Sebaldus is the patron saint of Nürnberg. Hollstein 1031.
AND a late 16th/ early 17th cent. copy in reverse of the same scene by EDMOND CHARPY and printed by T. DE LEU (rare). - AND 9 others, i.a. 4 engravings from the same series (incl. a contemp. copy in reverse, publ. Th. de Leu(?)) and prints by J. DE BYE and A. COLLAERT.
- A somewhat grey impression; vague stains in the lower right corner, perhaps professionally cleaned; closed wormhole; trimmed half a cm. outside the platemark.

Collaert, H. (±1530-1580). The mote and the beam in the eye. Engraving after A. FRANCKEN, 22x27,6 cm., monogrammed in the plate, w. the address of C.J. Visscher.
