One of four different Dutch translations of the Declaration du Serenissime Roy de la Grand' Bretaigne sur ses actions devers les Estats Generaux des Pais bas unis touchant le faict de Conradus Vorstius. Pamphlet on the attack of King James I on the Dutch heretic Conrad Vorstius, whom he wished to be expelled by the States General for his publications Tractatus Theologicus de Deo (1610) and his Exegesis Apologetica (1611). When the Remonstrant Vorstius was appointed to succeed Arminius as Professor of Theology at Leyden University, the polarization and growing opposition against Vorstius not only led to the burning of his books at the orders of King James I, but eventually led to Vorstius' removal from his post.
