= Probably a proof of a (unpublished?) commorative work (to be published around 1955) on Maxim Gorki with portraits and i.a. scenes from his plays and stills from films after his novels. Some captions: "Photograph taken of the day he left the prison", "V.I. Kachalov, A.M. Gorky and K.S. Stanislavsky behind the scenes of the Moscow Art Theatre in 1928", "Gorky and Stefan Zweig", "A.M. Gorky working in his study 1935".

Tan-Tjie-Lan, Herrmann & Co., Charls & Van Es & Co., Koene & Co., G.R. Lambert & Co. and R. Schülz.
