= RKD PV-P-1985-1: "Vos maakte deze litho in opdracht van de politieke partij D'66, t.b.v. verkiezingskas. (...). Ik moest een goedkoop stuk kunst maken. Zonder steunkleur. In eerste instantie wilde ik iets met de kleur groen doen. Omdat ik alleen zwart en wit tot mijn beschikking had, heb ik toen een boom vol bladeren gemaakt, let op het verband met groen, met daarop een uil. De boom is symboliek voor een man. De uil (teken van wijsheid) stelt het hoofd voor."

AUTOGRAPH NEW YEAR WISH, signed w. the artist's sm. pulcinella drawing, undated, 2 sm. lvs. (1x fold.), pen and ink, comprising 3 drawings. - AND WITH: Idem. "Kwatrijn beschrijvende de volmaakte schoonheid van het ongerepte blad (...)". AUTOGRAPH QUATRAIN w. accompanying text and drawing, undated, pen and ink, 1 leaf, recto only. - AND WITH the address side only of a brown paper wrapping (±27x32,5 cm.), with CALLIGAPHED AUTOGRAPH ADDRESS/ LETTERING by PETER VOS, illustrated with a pen and ink drawing.

= A fine collection, with all leaves illustrated by its author with ORIGINAL PEN AND INK DRAWINGS. In the letters Peter Vos thanks Mrs Van der Grinten for her gifts and commissions and apologises for his late replies.

"(...) Mijn hartelijke dank voor de prachtige Kunstencyclopedie.(...) Leentje stuurde me ook een druk van het ex libris, die ik zeer goed vond. De gebreken, die het eventueel mocht hebben, heeft het origineel ook. (...) Ik hoorde, dat U ook schildert. Met olieverf neem ik aan. Daar heb ik reuze ontzag voor, want ik zelf heb 't nog maar tot gouache gebracht. (...) Verder houd ik het bij tekeningen met pen, rietpen, penceel, krijt en houtskool. Ik maak hier op de Academie reuze vorderingen, mede dankzij de klasgenoten, want iedereen leert van iedereen, en hoop te zijner tijd nog eens goed te kunnen tekenen (...)" [undated, ±1955]. "Hartelijk dank voor alle goede gaven: U weet van een afstand blijkbaar precies wat ons hart verkwikt. Ik heb verder voor 1958, 59, 60 en 61 wel te eten (...)" [undated, prob. 1958]. "(...) Het was een leuke opdracht, de kalender voor Océ te maken. Ik heb er zoveel mogelijk ingepropt, dan hebben de mensen wat te kijken (....)" [23/12/1970]. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXVIII.
