- Three closed tears (±2-4 cm.) near upper and lowed edge.
= After a composition by Dirk Langendijk dated 1793 (sold in auction in 2005 at Christie's). Very early work by the artist.
- Sl. creased in left half.
AND 2 others by the same, both pencil sketches of ruminating cows, both monogrammed and dated "P.O. 1846" (pencil on blue paper, with sketch of a cow on verso; creased) and "P.O. 1848[?]" (pencil and some orange crayon on white paper; a few flattened creases and a few tiny browned spots), both tipped onto mount.
- Small rust hole in the first drawing above the cow.
= The two drawings on blue paper also have a sm. pencil sketch on verso.
- Sl. creased in top margin. = Attractive drawing.
- Laid down on later laid paper, closing a few sm. holes and weak spots; sl. fingersoiled and w. few sm. stains; corrections (by the artist?) in centre.
= Near the lower edge in the left part what appears to be a very vague (later?) annotation or signature. With the small collector's mark of Emile Wauters (Lugt 911) on recto. On laid paper with bunch of grapes watermark.
- Yellowed.
AND 1 other watercolour, showing a (Dutch?) farm, 19th cent.

- Yellowed.
= With a sm. pencil drawing of a sewing machine or a theatre stage below and on verso an unfinished watercolour drawing of a town.
- One yellowed. = Provenance: Ruskin Gallery (Stratford-on-Avon).
