= During the Hoeksche en Kabeljauwse Twisten Rotterdam was ruled for just over a year by Frans van Brederode. The book is mainly on fights with surrounding cities such as Gouda, Hillegersberg, Schoonhoven, Delft. The last 25p. consist of the "Comedie van 't beroerde Schiedam". Van Balen-Chavannes 4.

Van het boek verscheen de laatste Nederlandse herdruk weliswaar in de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw, maar in Amerika dateert de recentste reprint van slechts een paar jaar geleden. Pages 158-160 are printed in Hebrew type. Contains correspondence with C. Huygens, D. Heinsius and J. Cats. The rare first edition.
