= View of the castle of Zevenbergen, demolished in 1728. Beelaerts van Blokland/ Dumas, De kasteeltekeningen van Abraham Rademaker p.54ff: "Een van de eerste oudheidkundigen die met waar fanatisme en compleetheidsdrang historische gegevens en beeldmateriaal verzamelde en deze op- of natekende, was de Rotterdammer Kornelis van Alkemade (...). Van Alkemade zal omstreeks 1695 zijn begonnen met het verzamelen van afbeeldingen van kastelen, die hij natekende en van historische beschrijvingen voorzag."
