- Crease in right blank margin; vertical fold in right part; a few closed marginal tears.

- Tiny hole in the image near lower edge; otherwise very fine. = For the larger part showing India.
- Trifle browned; pinhole near title-cartouche; 1 marginal tear. = Van der Krogt/ Koeman II, 8330:2.
- Both (sl.) browned.
- Sl. dampstained and w. some brownish spots. With manuscript annot. in blank area on one of the sheets marking the place of death (Darwar) of Edward Holmes (died in 1816).

- Trifle creased in right blank margin; otherwise fine.

- Trimmed to/ just outside the borderline; doubled; nevertheless fine.
= Very rare complete chart from one of the earliest Doncker atlases: De Zee-Atlas ofte Water-Waereld (1660). Cf. Koeman IV, p.158, Don 2 (13 and 14). Originally this chart was planned as a wall map and then later printed in a 2 separate sheet atlas format by masking off the extra portions of the plate and adding 2 title cartouches. Both title-cartouches are therefore laid down instead of printed in the map. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXXXVII.
