- All laid down on mount along upper margin; trimmed close to the borderline; a few prints sl. foxed; 1 print w. (water)stain.
= The New Hollstein 127-132, 134-138, 140-143, 145, 148 and 150. Second state (of 2 or 3 (H.136, 148 and 150) or 4 (H.127 and 134)). SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XCVIII.
- Lacks 1 plate; sl. yellowed; all plates trimmed to the borderline of inner margin and bound between 2 stubs (covering approx. 1-2 mm. of image); all plates with circular stamp on verso reading: "Seine colportage".
- Title engraving sl. yellowed; most leaves dampstained in upper and outer blank margins (plates not affected).
= Orig. published in 1657 w. 52 plates; the present series consist of 6 sets of 8 prints each. Cf. Gumuchian 3413 and 5982. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XCIX.
- Cut to/ just outside the borderline. Vaguely foxed/ stained (especially verso is (dust)soiled). = Hollstein 2.
- Tipped onto contemporary mount (probably provided by Ploos). Fine.
= LNP 30, the 4th or 5th state (of 5); Van Huffel 29.
- Fine copy with ample margins (leaf 28,7x34,7 cm.). A few minute foxed spots and some vague creases in blank margins.
= New Hollstein 338, the second and final state. On laid paper with a fleurs-de-lys in mandorla watermark, crowned and w. countermark "MH" [?]. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XCIX.
