- Sl. foxed; tiny tear in left margin just affecting the image.
= With on verso the central part of a large pen and black ink drawing, showing a fisherman and a mill in a Dutch village. The Amsterdam city archive holds a drawing with the exact same composition.
- Browned.
= With attribution "Lamberts" in pencil on verso. And with a partial dedication "Vriendschap (...)n den heer Brentano (...)", probably the art collector J.A. Brentano (1753-1821).
= Antoine Le Loup lived and worked in Spa and made several small sized drawings on vellum of Spa.
- Yellowed; a few vague creases in upper right corner.
= Provenance: from the collection of J. and C. Ulmann.
- Sl. yellowed.
- A few vaguely visible foxed spots; two thin spots in sky area; doubled with Japanese paper.
- Browned and duststained.
- Some offsetting from former passepartout along edges.

- Varnish discoloured; some craquelé.
