= A very delicate drawing with four small 'scenes': an older and a young fisher woman, a view of 'bomschuiten'on the beach and view of fishermen homes.Provenance: the collection A.M. van den Broek; sold at auction Sotheby's Amsterdam, 1981. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CXIX.
= Provenance: the collection of A.M. van den Broek with his collector's mark on verso and, according to his notes, before that from the collection Hoog (Haarlem). Signature probably erased, "Hillegom 1819" still vaguely visible on verso. Attractive drawing with a pair of turkeys in the foreground. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CXX.

AND 4 other (early) 19th cent. drawings: a watercolour of the ruin of Egmond, a view of a house, manor, a drawing of the ruined church of Bergen and an unidentified walled town near a river.
= Showing probably a caricature of the artist Fernand Cormon (by himself?) on a rather wild feast. On verso a small manuscript note (unread).

- Laid down on (chafed) blue laid paper; somewhat foxed; a few weak spots and sm. holes; chafed spot in lower left corner.
= Design for the etched titlepage or frontispiece of 't Verwerd Europa, ofte Politijke en historische beschryvinge der waare fundamenten (...) van de oorlogen (...) in Europa (Amsterdam, 1675) by P. Valkenier. The title-page was etched by Coenraet Decker in the style of Romeyn de Hooghe. The final etching differs mostly in the details, the general composition is the same.
= Sketch for the monumental fresco in the Begijnhof, Amst. Provenance: the I.Q van Regterern Altena sale (Christie's, Amst., 2015). SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CXX.

- Small sl. browned spot in upper right corner.
= Title and attribution in pen on mount. Provenance: the collection of Hans van Leeuwen (sold at auction 1992-1999, lot 279, with title: "Travellers on a wooded road") and, according to a note on the passepartout, purchased at Pfann (Amsterdam in 1957). Another annot. on passepartout suggesting Willem Uppink might be the artist.

- Vaguely browned; sm. chip in upper edge; lower right corner w. small repair.

- Pinholes in corners; partly discoloured; a few tiny rubbed spots.

The quote on the first drawing is also SIGNED in full in pencil by the artist.
