= In 1930 the SKK (Socialistische Kunstenaars Kring) organized an international exhibition of socialist art in the Stedelijk museum in Amsterdam. Members were i.a. Peter Alma and Gerd Arntz. With a font in the style of Futura Black (designed by Paul Renner in 1929) and partly based on the experimental type font design by Joseph Albers (designed between 1927-1931).

"Te Rome werd in November 1918 een tijdschrijft voor nieuwe kunst "Valori Plastici" opgericht, onder redactie van Mario Broglio en met medewerking van de belangrijkste Europeesche moderne kunstenaars. (...) Verwantschap, zoowel artistiek als cultureel, tusschen het streven van "Valori Plastici" en dat van het Hollandsche kunsttijdschrift "De Stijl" deed tusschen beide bladen een samenwerking tot stand komen, welke zal bestaan in een uitwisseling van denkbeelden en reproducties naar werken der wederzijdsche medewerkers.
