= The first book publication of the Gesellschafts- und Wirtschaftsmuseum at Vienna, headed by Dr. Otto Neurath, the great advocate of the importance of visual education. Attached to the museum as a freelancer since 1926, Arntz became Head of the Graphics Department in January 1929 and from then onwards Neurath and Arntz worked closely together in creating the ISOTYPE, the International System Of Typographic Education. This rare book is still a mixture of styles: partly pictorial statistics by Arntz, partly colourful figures by i.a. Meixner. = This album records the devastation suffered by Greece during World War II. The material was gathered during the occupation mainly by the Office of Spatial and Urban Studies and Research, as part of the Ministry of Public Works in Greece, with the assistance of architects from the Deputy Ministry of Reconstruction.

De Kanter to Robin Kinross because of some questions about an Isotype exhibition that took place in The Hague in the past and where mrs De Kanter first saw Isotype charts, and about current exhibitions on Gerd Arntz and Isotype. "(...) Arntz forgives me that I did not come to the Hague for the opening, as I forgive him that he did not come to Reading. The Reading exhibition will go to Vienna in April, and may go elsewhere afterwards. So things are going on; indeed much better than we could anticipate in those sad en difficult years that you shared with us (...)" [13/01/1977]. Also about the activities celebrating Otto Neurath's 100th birthday, the publishing of his writings and the growing interest in Isotype. "(...) We have now closed down the Isotype Institute, but there is Reading University, and the tradition is being carried on (...)" [13/01/1983].
