Wir wussten beiden immer, wie sehr Sie beide unsere ganze Existenz hier ermöglichen halfen (...)". The second letter and its attached letter deal extensively on the cooperation between the International Foundation for Visual Education and the Dutch Statistical Foundation, on the regulation, responsibilities, uniformity, costs and payments: "(...) What you write about the Dutch Foundation as going on with their own Isotype work, I explained in my promemoria, enclosed [= the attached letter], that that would not by wise, since you should think of all our new techniques, etc and of our highly evolved transformational work. It would not by nice, to have the Isotype work by the Foundation for Visual Education and besides that some chart made by your Dutch Statistical Foundation (...)".
