- Each map w. owner's stamp of "J.W. Retgers" in outer blank margin in lower left corner.

= Extremely rare and very detailed map (scale of 1:350000). Junghuhn spent three years in preparing this map for the lithographer. "Tesamengesteld uit de waarnemingen en opmetingen door hem [= Junghuhn] gedaan gedurende zijne onderzoekingsreizen op dat eiland in de jaren 1835 tot 1848."
