= Ad 1. Landwehr 873; De Vries 55; Praz p.530f; cf. Hollstein 427-611 (edition B). Printed approx. 6 years after the almost identical 12mo edition of the first printing. This second edition augmented with 10 emblems by Anna Visscher, daughter of Roemer: Minne-poppen. One of the rarest and finest Dutch emblem books. Landwehr mentions only 3 copies of this edition, those of KB and UBA incomplete. A rare complete copy. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXIX.

Ad 2. Cf. Simoni V201. The first edition was part of "tLoff vande mutse" (1612). Probabaly a variant of the 2nd ed. (which is the 1st separate, corrected and enlarged edition). Five copies traced in the STCN.
