= With the collector's marks of R. Lamponi (19th cent.) (Lugt 1760) and unidentified collector (not in Lugt), both on recto. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CXVIII.
= Depicts the riding school of G. Brouwer Sr. in The Hague, built for Willem II in 1845, and rebuilt as Hervormde Kerk in 1854-1856. The municipal archive of The Hague keeps 2 almost identical drawings by the same artist dated 1847, inv. kl.A593 and kl.A598.
- Sl. yellowed from former framing; verso w. traces of glue along outer margins.

- Some foxed spots; tiny oval shaped cut in lower right corner; 2 tiny closed marginal tears; nevertheless fine.
