VAN DEN BROECK, showing scenes from the Old and New Testament, each within decorated border (six diff. types), contemp. calf, both covers w. identical central gilt oval strapwork ornament and 4 French lily corner fleurons, two simple brass clasps and catches, 8vo.

- A few unobtrusive false folds; one restored spot in lower blank margin; one plate w. restored hole in border below image (H1); a few sm. stains (mostly in blank margin). Rebacked w. calf backstrip; covers partly restored along edges.

= Provenance: from the library of Bob Luza (bookplate on upper pastedown); 4 old manuscript owner's entries on title-p., i.a. of "Daniel Knutsius 1620", "Johannes Knuth Ao 1648", "Johan Carl von Groin Ao 1721" and "Pochenfuss[?]".
