= Copy of the DE LUXE EDITION on better paper with ample margins and splendidly coloured lithographs. Alt-Japan Katalog 1098; Cordier 490; Landwehr, Dutch Books w. Col. Plates 385; Tiele 357. The author spent 9 years in Japan (Deshima) in the 1820s and on his return to the Netherlands in 1829 he decided to exhibit his large collection of Japanese artefacts in the Koninklijke Kabinet van Zeldzaamheden.
