= Charles Estienne's (i.e. Kaerle Stevens') popular work on agriculture Praedium Rusticum, first published in 1554 and translated into the French and enlarged by Libaut in 1564. It is a veritable encyclopedia of country living, with sections on i.a. orchards, fruit and hunting. Charles Estienne belonged to the famous dynasty of Parisian printers. Very rare. Bibl.
