"The superlative quality of the printing shows up the poor quality of the earlier Syphilis which had been printed in Tiflis. No doubt this is because the publisher of Erenburg's theoretical discussion about film was Film-press (Kino-pechat') which evidently had access to superior equipment." (Compton).
