- Some sl. occas. foxing/ soiling. Lower part (± 4 cm.) of backstrip restored; gilt on covers trifle rubbed.

ADDED: Theodoretus. De providentia Orationes decem. Paris, F. Pelicanus, 1630, (8),411p., parallel Greek and Latin text, later richly gilt calf, both covers w. central stamp "IESUS / MARIA" in a wreath, surrounded by a pattern of fleur-de-lys within broad dentelle border, gilt ribbed spine, gilt boardedges, a.e.g.

- Some sl. foxing; (damaged) heraldic bookplate on upper pastedown; endpaper soiled/ (water)stained. Lower joint split at top and w. tiny wormholes at foot.
