- Trimmed outside the borderline; paper along left margin sl. thin; vaguely foxed; sm. red stain in the air. Verso with the collector's marks of Emile Galichon, Friedrich Kalle, Martin Wigand and Julian Marshall (Lugt 1058, 1021, 2623, 1494) and with w. some unidentified manuscript marks. Lugt on the Wigand sale: "un œuvre superbe d'A. van Ostade".
