- A few lvs. dam. w. loss of text; larger texts partly consisting of unnumb. lvs. and not collated.

= Interesting collection, comprising i.a. (1). 5 manuscript notebooks, containing i.a. a draft of the 2nd and 3rd act of "De Zwanen van de Thames" (32; 29p., blue ballpoint), a draft of a an unpublished(?) play ("De Keizer van San Estéban"?, 73p., pen and ink and blue ballpoint), a few untitled ms. poems and short stories/ fragments, but also drafts for advertising slogans; (2). "De Gijzelaar" (typescript (carbon copy) play, 53 lvs., corrections in ballpoint); (3). "Een nieuwe vriend" (typescript (carbon copy) story, 30 lvs., corrections in ballpoint); (4). Correspondence by Em. Querido's Uitgeversmij. (mainly Tine van Buul) concerning proofs, corrections, contracts, settlements, i.a. containing the contracts for De verliefde gevangene, Koude gedichten and Philip en de anderen. (5). Eleven lvs. w. annotations, apparently partly concering the plays mentioned above; (6). Three photographs of Liesbeth List by Theo Sanders (each 24x18 cm., verso w. the photographer's stamp). Also present is a curious typescript letter by a student, asking Nooteboom if the style of the poems in Koude gedichten was inspired by that of Simon Vinkenoog, as stated in a review by Ab Visser. Hoogachtend, Simon Vinkenoog". SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XXXVIII.
