WITH a small collection of autograph and typescript letters, notes and poems by Johan Daisne (parly signed with his real name "Herman" [Herman Thiery], consisting of i.a. 6 letters and a note to Hans Roest (i.a. on the positive review Daisne's Filmatiek that of Roest had published); a note to Maurice Roelants and the AUTOGRAPH SIGNED drafts of 2 poems: "Ta pedia tou pirea (De kinderen van de Piraeus)" (one leaf, dated "10.60", pen and red and (corrections in) blue ink, recto only) and (Het dagboek van Anne Frank (...) Bij zijn verfilming) (2 leaves, pen and blue ink, dated "23.9.59" in pen and ink, and date stamped "[...] 1959", recto and verso, (3)p., of which 1 1/2 p. w. a draft of the poem and 1p. (crossed out) w. preliminary lines/ jottings for the poem); an autograph letter signed to Gerard Walschap (i.a. on Louis de Bourbon and inviting Walschap to give a talk at his reading club) and 3 letterpress poems and 4 typescript letters by Johan Daisne, all in orig. envelope w. typescript/ autograph address (the poems w. short signed/ monogrammed AUTOGRAPH wish in ballpoint were sent as New Year wish to HENK VAN OTTERLOO, the typescript letters chronicle their gradually growing friendship).
