= Attractive atlas portraying seven non-topographical aspects of the earth's geography: four sections focused on those dynamic phenomena whose physical actions alter the earth's surface (1. Geologie; 2. Hydrographie; 3. Meteorologie; 4. Erdmagnetismus), and three describing the earth in terms of its inhabitants and what it produces (5. Pflanzenverbreitung; 6. Tierverbreitung; 7. Völkerkunde). Based on concepts and graphical methods developed by i.a. Alexander von Humboldt and Carl Ritter, it contains some very attractive (world) maps and diagrams, all in detailed handcolouring.
