= This is the large and rarest version of this poster. Mouron plate 32 (the small version) and p.84-85 on posters of this type: "(...) Remarkable for the spareness of their style, these works reflect an unflagging desire to give prominence to what characterizes the object - or feature - being advertised by choosing a significant angle and position and by modelling it to suggests its volumes. Whether it is executed in a range of greys or in the tones of an anonymous fidelity to an ideal reality, the object appears larger than it is in real life. Further emphasized by a dramatic chiaroscuro, to which a more or less finely regulated air brush brings a variety of textures rendering the material it consists of, it stands out, a fully substantial thing, against a background of sharply contrasting or - in some cases, subtly evocative - colors. Such is the case in Miniwatt (1931) (...)." This lot is subject to 4% resale royalties ('droit de suite') over the total amount of hammerprice and buyer's premium.
